I am an Adjunct Faculty at Onsite Workshops, working about once a month with different clients for 2 1/2 hour intensive sessions along with their Guide/Therapist and offering somatic experiencing, body mapping, attunement, and other practices that combine movement, art, and healing. I find this work deeply meaningful and often profoundly healing, and though somatic healing and centering is not my primary professional focus, I believe in this work and from time to time offer private sessions independently.
As a member of The Healing Society of Nashville , a co-working space for healers located in East Nashville, I offer sessions with a unique blend of somatic and Reiki energy work, focusing on deepening body awareness, centering, releasing grief or anxiety, deeply grounding, and promoting energetic clarity. My background in somatic and healing work comes from various teachers and programs, including training in SomEx Module 1 with the Experiential Healing Center in Memphis, TN, Reiki Level 1, 2 and 3 with Jenna Longmire, Total Body Integration through Bartenieff Fundamentals with Janice Meaden, Authentic Movement with Arunima Orr and Deanie French, and Sounding through Art & Soul Studio as well as a lifetime spent “in my body” as a dancer. I work in the Greater Nashville area.
While I am establishing a client base, I’m offering below-market rates:
90-minute session with somatic work and body mapping: $110
70 minute session, soul waters grounding and Reiki energy work: $70
50-minute session with a partner, grounding and self energy work: $95
30/45-minute distance grounding and Reiki session online: $40

Multi-session testimonials:
Amanda Cantrell Roche And her sessions have been such a valuable presence in my life. Her poems, meditations, and Reiki sessions have been an important source of healing for my soul and my recovery.
I highly recommend her for anyone who is working through challenges, seeking healing, and spiritual or artistic guidance. — James Kyson
One-session testimonial:
“I was blessed to receive this work recently with Amanda and I can highly recommend it and her to you. We non-dancers can get way out of touch with our bodies and this work reconnects us and also has a calming and centering effect on the brain.” — LJ Ratliff, LCSW
Multi-session testimonial:
“Amanda is a truly gifted and sensitive person whom I sought for help to connect with my body and learn how to ‘be in my skin.’ She proved herself to be a gentle, informative guide who deepened my understanding of the mind/body connection, helped me to be ‘friends’ with my body, and taught me exercises that will help me transition from an antagonistic relationship with my body to a friendship with it. Amanda created a safe space for me to explore body movement without feeling judged. Our work together has been a treasured, invaluable component of my own healing, physical and emotional. I have been so blessed by the crossing of our paths!” — Gwen
