“Banyans’ Call is a passion project conceived, filmed, and edited in the last three days of an artist residency at The Hermitage Artist Retreat on Manasota Key, Florida in August 2025. As an artist, my ongoing focus is the climate crisis. It feels like the elephant in the room that so many can’t or don’t face because it’s so overwhelming, yet we must. There is hope for change, for resilience. But it requires all hands on deck. And each person who makes changes in their behaviors, who supports environmental policies and regulations, can inspire others to do so. We need to make these actions visible, because need everyone on board.
